Random Thought

I was walking out of Wal-Mart yesterday morning and was suddenly struck with how grateful I am to be living in such a diverse area. On any given day at this WM your are sure to find people from just about every race. I love it! I never realized how much I love diversity until we were visiting family this summer (in a certain state NW of here). Josef and I took Sofia to a neighborhood park and I kid you not, 90% of the children there were blond haired blue eyed. Don't get me wrong, I'm proud of my heritage and who I am, but I realized how much I love to be around different types of people, from different races, countries, and cultures. It makes life interesting. It also reminds me that God truly is no "respecter of persons", meaning he loves everyone equally no matter our skin color, language, religion, culture, or income . We all have equal access to his love and forgiveness.

I'm thankful for random moments and thoughts like this that remind not only how much I'm loved, but also those around me.
