Wednesday afternoon I received a voice mail from Laura letting me know that she wouldn't be available to be visit taught the following day because her and Dave had decided to move to California. So later that night, along with the Hamiltons, we woke up Sofia and went to help the "Spur of the Moment Garners" pack up and move.
Oh how we will miss the Garners! They moved into our ward 6 weeks after we did and were pretty much our first friends, (and really our only friends for a while). We will miss our go-to friends who were always the ones we called on to play games, eat food, watch movies, eat more food, laugh till our stomachs hurt (at least mine always did), go out to eat food, and just have fun. We love them for their spontaneity and laid back nature, even if that was why they packed up and moved on a days notice!
