With only 11 days left until my due date I'm becoming more and more excited to not be pregnant anymore. But then I remember that not being pregnant anymore means that I will be a mother and then I get really nervous and scared. So I'm having mixed feelings, but I think my desire to not be pregnant anymore and my excitement to meet my baby out weighs my fears.
So as you can see I'm getting pretty big. I feel like a whale, but common sense is telling me that I'm not quite that big. I've reached a few new levels in my pregnancy and fulfilled some stereotypes. For instance, I've found that my belly makes a very nice place to hold my chip dip bowl. It is also a catch-all for my food, I feel like I need to be wearing a bib when I eat!! Also, none of my pj bottoms fit me any more (my booty is too big), so now I wear Josef's. Hehe, I never thought I would be doing that. Actually Josef came home from work one day to find me decked out in his clothes, PJ bottoms and a shirt. His clothes are so much more comfortable than mine. I can't wear my wedding ring anymore, my fingers are too swollen. Now I'm resigned to wear a very ugly fake. Last night I went out with some girlfriends from my ward, we went to 27 Dresses (a very good movie, I recommend). My feet got really hot during the movie, so I slipped my shoes (slip on shoes are the only way to go when you're nine months pregnant) and just placed my feet on top. Don't worry I wasn't about to let my bare feet touch the skanky floor! When the movie ended I tried to slip them back on and much to my horror, they wouldn't fit!! My feet swelled up a lot in that short hour and 45 minutes. I had to force my feet into my shoes, but they looked all pudgy. It was pretty uncomfortable.
Well hopefully my next post will be informing you all that I'm in labor, or that we have a new addition to the family.

Hey Jenny! Well you look like you're ready to pop. All these horror stories and I tell Preston that I want to skip the pregnancy part! lol...Well I hope that you will be comfortable for these next few days and hope Sofia comes on time! I can't wait to meet her in February! Good luck, and get the drugs fast!
You are too cute!! So, you took the words right out of my mouth about not wanting to be pregnant anymore, but then scared because you know what that means! :> I've worn a couple of Cody's white beaters as undershirts to work! They are comfier, not to mention, they actually fit!
You look so cute prego :) Hope everything goes well for the rest of the pregnancy and the labor. By the way, Sophia is such an adorable name!
