20 Dollars

What can you buy for $20? Maybe a pair of shoes, a large pizza, a child's birthday present, two movie tickets, a new book, or a DVD. What it I told you that for $20 you can possibly save a child's life? For 20 dollars you can give one mother the peace of mind that her child will have a shot at many birthdays to come, first words and steps, learning to read, discovering the world, and saying "I love you". Twenty dollars is how much it costs to immunize one child against four potentially life threatening diseases: measles, polio, pneumonia, and diarrhea.

The mission of the United Nations Foundations' newest campaign, Shot@Life, is to give children in developing countries the ability to experience childhood. Please watch this short video and pledge your support!

Coming up next, my experience at the Shot@Life Champion Summit.
