Preschool Memories

For about a year and a half Sofia and I participated in a preschool co-op with three other moms and their three children. We each took turns teaching preschool from week to week  For the first few months we simply did it once a week for two hours.  Then this past September we decided to expand it to twice a week with a field trip once a month.  We had lots of fun and I am thankful for all Sofia learned through our Mommy Preschool.  In addition to the academic things she learned (numbers/counting, shapes, science, letters/phonetics, and hand writing), Sofia grew in regards to social skills and self confidence.  Now she is looking forward to attending a formal preschool for her final year before kindergarten.
