I may as well post something...

...since I'm up anyway. I didn't post yesterday. I was pretty tired so I went to bed early, but Sofia has been up for over an hour with a persistent cough. Its 3:15am. I tried giving her some water and left the sippy cup in her bed. I turned her humidifier up full blast. I gave her a pillow to elevate her head. I contemplated getting her out of bed and doing our steam shower treatment that worked this morning. I did a little googling (is that a word), found some more suggestions and then it dawned on me. I feel stupid I didn't think of it in the first place. She's coughing because the mucus is draining down the back of her throat (sorry for the description). I just went in there and sucked her nose (again sorry) and I haven't heard a peep out of her since. She's quiet now and I'm going to crawl back in bed!
