Halloween Party

Our friends had a Halloween party a few weeks ago. We had so much fun! It was great to get out of the house without Sofia and spend time with all our adult friends. Costumes were required and Josef and I had a hard time agreeing on the direction we should go with our costume. After an unsuccessful trip to the party store, we were out of ideas. Until Josef (I'm so proud of him) came up with the idea to go as puzzle pieces and I suggested that our "puzzle" be a picture of Sofia. We had the picture printed up at Kinko's for only 75 cents a square foot and then mounted it on foam core board. So here's the finished product:

At the party all the couples were sent on a scavenger hunt here are some pictures from that:

Taking a picture by the ghost.

Taking a picture in the giant coffee cup at the play place in the Willow Bend mall. Previous to this we had to stuff our faces as fast as we could with a pretzel. That's why my mouth looks funny.

Taking a picture with someone in orange. This mother was a bit wary of what was going on (she didn't speak English very well.)

Taking a picture trying on shoes. One couple miss read the clue and took a picture tying someones shoes! hehe!! I was surprised he actually found someone to let him tie their shoes.

We had so much fun and are very thankful to have such great friends, even though we're not in the same ward anymore!

That looks like fun. I have to say it, you guys look like dorks but it was a good idea. At least you can put the picture up somewhere...until you have other kids and they get jealous! lol..
