She's Mobile: Update

The video we took below of Sofia's army crawl was taken Sunday. This was the first time she had ever scooted around like that. Well the next morning I put Sofia on the floor in our bathroom while I was....well you know, anyways the next thing I know she makes a bee line for me and starts crawling. I couldn't believe my eyes. For about a month now she has only been pulling up onto her hands and knees and rocking back and forth. It was exciting to see her finally figure it out. She's still not extremely efficient about it or very quick, but she's definitely starting to get into things she shouldn't. Even as I type she keeps coming back to the desk to play with all the cords underneath. She also loves to try and stick her finger in all the electrical sockets. Guess I'll be baby proofing this weekend!

She also started clapping on Monday. Yesterday morning I was feeding her little puffs and every time I stuck one in her mouth Sofia would clap her hands. So cute!!

Yay Sofia! Yay for you too Jenny but not so much since now you'll have to baby proof everything! What fun though to have a mobile baby! :-)

It was so good to see you last night! You look great, by the way. Look out, now that she's crawling, you'll be busier than ever!

And so it starts! The constant watching so that your child doesn't get into something that will hurt them :) It's a great stage because they seem to learn something new every day! You also get a lot of exercise in :)
