Independence Day

I hope everyone has a wonderful Independence Day! Amid the barbecues, pancake breakfasts , fireworks shows, and friends and family I hope you will take the time to remember what we are celebrating this day and why we are so blessed as citizens of this great country! For me the Fourth of July is like Thanksgiving. This year I have so much to be grateful for and it is all made possible because I live in America. I am most thankful for religious freedom and that I have the true and full gospel. I am so thankful to have the freedom to be sealed for eternity to the two people who mean the world to me. I am grateful to my ancestors who made the trek to America many generations ago and sacrificed so much (even their own lives) so that their posterity could worship freely and prosper in this promised and blessed land. Finally, I am thankful to those who continue to sacrifice their time and lives to protect the freedoms and liberties that I daily take for granted. Words cannot fully express my deep gratitude and humility to be living in the United States of America! God Bless America!!
